I started helping to contribute data to OpenStreetMap around December 2017. OpenStreetMap is a completely free streetmap and an alternative to the proprietary Google Maps. I explored the map and learned about various map editing tools. There was a massive need for additions and changes to the map of York County, Pennsylvania. I made a todo list of map areas to work on and have been checking off items ever since.
